John Appiah is an accomplished communications specialist and business development expert with 10+ years of experience leading business development, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement across diverse industries in Ghana.
He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a Fellow, Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center (RLC) West Africa.
He has developed his career working in various high profile positions in multinational and international organizations including working as the Ghana Marketing Manager for Invest in Africa. He also worked for the British High Commission (BHC) in Ghana as BHC’s Communications Manager.
John has extensive media experience having worked as one of the producers on Joy FM’s flagship programmes the Super Morning Show and News File. He has also worked for Media General, owners of TV3 and 3FM. He was a presenter/ anchor on New Day Breakfast show on TV3 and a producer/editor on 3FM’s Sunrise Morning Show.
John Appiah is the Founder and CEO of the A-League Consult which is an independent communications training provider and personal branding specialist consultancy. The A-League Consult focuses on providing /delivering quality trainings, capacity building sessions and skills enhancement workshops aimed at equipping top level or senior executives with 3 key skills
