For over ten years, Genevieve Pearl Duncan has been consistent in changing the trajectory of relationship banking in Ghana. Having worked with the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB Bank) and currently at Fidelity Bank, she has played crucial roles to necessitate a significant growth in the industry. With the added responsibility of branch manager at a lively centre in the heart of Accra, A&C Mall, Genevieve oversees a team of committed staff dedicated to providing banking services that merit global competition.
She is a graduate of the Greenhill College (Gimpa) where she pursued her undergraduate program in Business Administration and the University of Ghana Business School, where she earned her Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) in Marketing. Furthermore, she has obtained certifications in Management in globally respected institutions including the Cranfield Business School (UK), Temple University, Fox School of Business (USA) and Harvard Business School.
As a trainer and mentor she has coached both students and workers in defining clear career paths for themselves. Genevieve’s particular interest in women encouraged her to recently complete a module on Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa (WELA 2015/2016 Cohort) at The China sEurope International Business School (CEIBS). She is very passionate in empowering the woman entrepreneur through mentoring and capacity building. She helps in shaping the focus of these young entrepreneurs and women on how to grow and sustain their businesses as well as staying relevant and making their voices heard, while claiming stronger brand positioning to impact society.
